Week One has officially begun for the NASCAR iRacing Series, and it has brought great success for the Hillhaven Motorsports Team! Among 4 Top-10 Finishes was a win in the Daytona 500 for driver Brayden Hill. This is Hill's third career series win, and his second win in a NASCAR "Crown Jewel" Race (First Win: 2018 Darlington Southern 500, September 2018). The #15 team started the race in the 25th position due to difficulties that prevented Brayden from being able to qualify. Throughout the first 150 laps, Hill worked in tandem with the #16 and #24 cars of David Thompson, Jr and Jason S Taylor. The race went almost 120 laps before the first caution. Throughout the remaining 80 laps, there were 5 additional cautions. Brayden Hill first took control of the race 144, taking the lead away from the #17 car of Darryn Clement. He went on to lead a total of 38 laps on his way to the checkered flag, with the help of the #7 of Huston Hamer and the #9 of Willie Nelson. As both a driver and owner of Hillhaven Motorsports, Brayden Hill expressed his thanks for his sponsors and teammates. Hill commented post-race, "It is so cool to win in our first race with Oldskoolz Grafix & Designz and iRacingiFlag as sponsors. I can't thank my drivers enough for their hard work and dedication over the offseason with testing and practice to prepare for the biggest race of the year. I couldn't have done this without them." Hill and the Hillhaven Motorsports team now heads into next week's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 4th place in the Division 3 Championship standings.
